Workshop Details

The cost of a one day Small Strobes, Big Results Workshop is $395 per person. Workshops are strictly limited to 12 participants. If you are interested in attending a workshop you will need to contact us to confirm availability. Payment information and our policies regarding cancellations and refunds are below.

Workshops run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Denver workshops are held at the studio of Mary Lynn Gallespi, 455 Ringsby Ct. Studio 99 Denver, CO 80216 [MAP]

Lunch and beverages will be provided. Mornings are spent learning techniques, afternoons are spent shooting in a unique location to practice what you have learned. Models are provided. After the workshops you are more than welcome to join my assistant and me for for a bite to eat and further discussion at a local restaurant (location to be announced at the workshop).

NOTE: Workshops that are in conjunction with other photo agencies such as Santa Fe Workshops, Light & Shadow, Mentor Series, etc. are priced and scheduled differently than SSBR. You will need to follow their links for pricing, schedule and registration information.

If you are interested in sponsoring a workshop in your town, please contact me and I will provide you with the necessary information you need to host a workshop. Small Strobes, Big Results workshops can be held in a photo studio, hotel conference room or local church. We offer workshop space in exchange for hosting a workshop and the use of your space.

2012 Denver Schedule

Mentor Series: Dubai April 20-27, 2012

Join the Mentor Series in this once-sleepy fishing village and now budding metropolis where Nikon professional photographers David Tejada and Michael Clark will match that energy and more. Pack your camera and prepare for a journey you won’t soon forget!

One of the world’s most luxurious hotels and the city’s most famous landmark the Burj Al Arab towers over the skyline like a luminescent yacht with the wind captured in its sails. Present Dubai’s story in a shot: Just as the hotel seems to glide from its private island toward the coastline, the ancient city is currently riding the wave of opulence and modernity. Allow your mentors to guide you through creating images in the unique desert light, a technique that will come in handy for the remainder of the trip. A stop at Jumierah Mosque will prove that Dubai is still steeped in tradition. Cameras are permitted, so focus on the intricate stone carvings, painted ceilings and Arabic calligraphy.

Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop outside of the Denver area within 30 days of the workshop date if registration falls below the necessary number needed to make it financially feasible for me to travel to that location. In the event of a cancelled workshop we will refund your payment in full. We are not responsible for airfare or other travel arrangements you have made. Please make your travel plans for the workshop after this 30 day period. Denver workshops do not have a 30 day cancellation policy since I'm already here!

Refund Policy

Payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to make a workshop for which you have already paid, please notify us prior to the workshop. You will receive a credit for the full amount to be applied to a future workshop of David's.
